Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma is set to make his television debut soon. After retiring from Test and T20 cricket, Rohit will now start a new innings in the entertainment world. His own show is titled ‘The Rohit Sharma Show’. It is being called his ‘biggest entertainment debut’.
Sony TV Network has released a new teaser of ‘The Rohit Sharma Show’. After this, the excitement among the viewers has increased. In a promo released last May, Rohit’s famous ‘Garden Mein Ghoomane’ dialogue was seen in a funny way. Now, in the new teaser, Rohit is seen giving advice to the cameraman and other crew members.
During the first promo release in May, Rohit jokingly said, “What did I say that went viral? When the full show comes, what will happen?” This comment was also a topic of discussion among fans.
What will be in ‘The Rohit Sharma Show’?
Most of the details about the show have been kept under wraps so far. However, it has been confirmed that Rohit Sharma himself will be seen as the host or anchor of the show. Sony Pictures Networks India CEO Gaurav Banerjee has also confirmed that Rohit himself will host the show. It is expected that the show will have various elements of entertainment along with humor.
Rohit is currently playing only ODIs
Rohit Sharma retired from T20 international cricket after the 2024 T20 World Cup. After that, he also said goodbye to Test cricket in May 2025. He currently plays only ODI cricket.
In his last match against England at Lord’s, Rohit played a historic innings of 138 runs. He became the first Indian batsman to score an ODI century at Lord’s. Now, fans are eagerly waiting to see Rohit’s new avatar on the cricket field as well as on television screens.
