Cinelover was eagerly waiting for the month of August. This month, there was a fierce clash between several big films at the box office. While there was a definite clash between ‘Batwara-1947’ and ‘Aawarapan-2’, Yash’s ‘Toxic’ and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Ithaa’ were also supposed to hit the screens at the same time at the end of the month. While ‘Toxic’ was in full swing to hit the theatres on the 26th, ‘Ithaa’ was supposed to release two days later, i.e. on August 28. But the makers have now cancelled this release date and announced a new date.
‘Ithaa’ will now release on December 4 instead of August 28. Shraddha Kapoor herself clarified this news through an Instagram post. Announcing the new release date of the film, Shraddha wrote, “Get ready for the storm, because ‘Ithaa’ is coming on December 4.” However, after the release date change, ‘Ithaa’ will not clash with Yash’s ‘Toxic’, but with Prabhas’ upcoming film ‘Fauji’. Because ‘Fauji’ is going to release on December 3. That is, two big films will hit the screens within a day.
The teaser of ‘Ithaa’ has received a good response from the audience. Shraddha Kapoor’s performance in the role of Vithabai Narayangaonkar has also been highly praised. Now, if the teaser and trailer of Prabhas’ ‘Fauji’ can win the hearts of the audience, then the competition for Shraddha’s ‘Ithaa’ at the box office could be even tougher.
