Muzammil Ibrahim has opened up about his statement about dating and breaking up with Deepika in a post on his Instagram account. He said, “The interview being talked about seems to be headlined incorrectly with new claims. It was recorded a year ago. The clips that are going viral now are just a part of a longer conversation.”
Muzzamil Ibrahim further wrote, “The awkwardness, context and respect that is often lost during the editing process when discussing certain topics, because the parts are viewed separately. I have always tried to speak respectfully about people from my past, and that remains true today.” The actor concluded, “Over the years, I have focused on improving my work and my life. I hope the discussion remains focused on that. I believe in expressing myself honestly and respectfully.”
In the viral video, Muzzamil said, “We dated for two years. I was the first man she met in Mumbai. It was my first relationship. Deepika Padukone proposed to me first. I broke up. I have never regretted leaving anyone. I was a star then, while she was not; she was a model.”
