Govinda was last seen in the film Rangila Raja in 2019. In it, he played two characters, but the film did not work. Apart from this, he was also seen in the documentary film Tha Kanheya Lal in 2022. Govinda has been missing from the screen for 7 years. Apart from this, he has done films like Friday Ageya Hero, Hey Bro, Happy Ending, Kill Dil, Deewana Mein Deewana, Delhi Safari.
