BCCI Changes Rule For 15-Year-Old Vaibhav Suryavanshi; Allows Father to Accompany on International Tours.

Attacking batsman Vaibhaav Suryavanshi is in the news these days. After his impressive performance in the IPL, he has been included in the Indian team. Vaibhaav Suryavanshi is currently in Sri Lanka to participate in the India A tri-series. Now, the BCCI has taken an important step in his regard. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has also made arrangements for Vaibhaav ‘s father to go there.

Now, Vaibhaav Suryavanshi’s father can travel with him to Sri Lanka for the tri-series. He has also been given the option to travel to the UK and Ireland with Vaibhaav . BCCI secretary Debjit Saikia confirmed this information. He said, “Vaibhaav Suryavanshi’s father is coming to Sri Lanka today, and if he wants, we will also give him the option to travel to the UK and Ireland, and make arrangements for him.”

Vaibhaav Suryavanshi will play for India A in the tri-series starting from June 9. Saikia added that Vaibhav is still very young, so this arrangement is being made to make him feel comfortable in the new environment. Vaibhav has also been included in the Indian T20 squad selected on Saturday for the Ireland-England and Asian Games.

BCCI has decided
The BCCI secretary said that Vaibhav Suryavanshi had previously travelled with the Under-19, Junior or Sub-Junior teams, so he was comfortable in that environment. Vaibhav will now be with the senior players, which will be a new experience for him. Since he is only 15 years old, the BCCI wants him to feel comfortable and safe.
