Consumers have got a big relief at the beginning of the month. Reduced price of 19 kg LPG commercial LPG cylinder. Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder significantly. Gas cylinder prices have been reduced by Rs 209 in Kolkata and Rs 202 in Delhi. In Delhi, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced to Rs 2728. Similarly, the price of 19 kg cylinder in Kolkata has been reduced to Rs 2872.50. There is no change in the price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder.
News agency ANI reported that after a big reduction, oil companies have implemented new prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders from August 1, 2026. Earlier, commercial LPG cylinders became cheaper in July too. After the latest reduction, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi has now come down to Rs 2,728. In Kolkata, it is Rs 2,872.50. With the reduction in the price of LPG in Delhi in two months (Delhi LPG cylinder price reduction), it has now come down to Rs 385.50.
Commercial LPG cylinders had become cheaper even before July. Giving the gift of reducing the price of LPG cylinders, oil marketing companies had reduced the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by more than Rs 183. After this, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi was reduced from Rs 3,113.50 to Rs 2,930, and in Kolkata from Rs 3,255.50 to Rs 3,081.50. Now, on August 1, another big relief has been given in the form of a reduction in the price of LPG. While oil marketing companies have been continuously reducing the prices of blue LPG cylinders for commercial use, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders have remained unchanged.
The prices of domestic gas cylinders have remained at the same level as on June 7. In Delhi, the price of a 14 kg LPG cylinder has remained at Rs 942 while in Kolkata it has remained at Rs 968. Additionally, in Mumbai, the price of a 14 kg LPG cylinder is Rs 941.50. In Chennai, it is Rs 957.50.
