EPFO Portal Down Until June 28: Users Won’t Be Able To Withdraw PF Money

Important news for the customers or PF account holders of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). EPFO’s online claim processing portal will be completely closed till June 28th. During this period, customers will not be able to avail any kind of online services. The reason for this is system migration and software upgrade. On this occasion, PF withdrawal, e-passbook service and other digital services will be closed. EPFO ​​is undertaking a major ‘database consolidation’ and upgrading of software applications to strengthen its database. The aim is to provide faster, safer and more reliable services to the customers.

According to information received from the organization, this service has been temporarily suspended for system migration and software upgrade work. Due to the closure of the portal, customers will be deprived of some digital services. No online application for withdrawal of money can be made till June 28. Customers will not be able to check the amount deposited or balance in their account. All other online functions like viewing claim status or updating profile will be affected.

Why this step has been taken?

EPFO has started a major ‘database consolidation’ process to make its database more secure and robust. Along with this, the software application is also being upgraded. After this system is upgraded, faster, secure and reliable digital services can be provided to customers in the coming days. The organization has sought cooperation for the temporary inconvenience caused to customers due to the closure of services. EPFO ​​portal will be closed till June 28; PF withdrawal and e-passbook services will be temporarily affected for software upgrade.
